Who we are
Bliss Feme is a non-profit community-based organization (CBO) that promotes women’s empowerment in the most marginalized and underserved communities in Uganda through interest-free loans. We are change agents at the grassroots, we identify local problems that hinder individual women’s progress. We connect the needy and poor women to you, the rich to get donations.

Our area of service is mainly for deprived communities of Uganda.
We serve women who live in the most remote rural and mountainous communities because we believe that mothers are the ones who hold our society to make it meaningful

We help women realize and understand their full potential.
We bring the women together to brainstorm and come up with various ideas to achieve a common cause.
Training of Bookkeeping
We train the women how to use loans on small business without straining their bodies, and how to record their progress.

What Makes Us Unique
We give loans to mothers who survive on subsistence farming throughout their lives, and we wish them to have a better life.
Interest-Free Loans: We offer loans without charging interest. This approach significantly reduces the financial burden on women, allowing them to invest in their personal development without the added pressure of interest payments. the loan rotates within the women community to benefit everyone.
Funded Model: BLISS FEME is unique in that it relies entirely on the founder and emotional supporters for funding. This independence from external donors allows for more flexible and immediate support tailored to the specific needs of the community, and it also means that the organization can operate without the constraints often imposed by external funding agreements.
One-Year Repayment Period: We provide a structured yet manageable repayment plan of one year. This timeframe is designed to be realistic for the women receiving the loans, giving them sufficient time to repay without overburdening them, while also ensuring the sustainability of the program by keeping the loan cycle relatively short.
